It has been difficult for me to start writing this newsletter. Ideas are mixed and form a knot of threads, images, and emotions that takes us a while to develop and understand. Maybe that's what it's about; unraveling everything that agglomerates in the depths of the heart and thoughts.
There is always a continuous dialogue that we carry inside us and in which we make imaginary notes, notes that somehow contribute to this creative labyrinth. Creating the balance to maintain a job that produces us to make a living and the time to create is really challenging. But the important thing is to start, to give shape to those ideas, escape a bit of the labor rigidity to create and to dream. Keeping the purpose in mind also helps.
What works for me is to organize the ideas (although later they end up in this indecipherable thing that I mentioned above). I don't know how this newsletter will unfold, but I have divided it this way:
What I see when I run (I'm an amateur runner).
Notes from my notebooks (I am an illustrator and I draw in many ways).
Documenting the memory of things, I love polaroids and snapshots so much.
Document my creative processes and perhaps share work materials.
For now, this is all I can think of, as I said, getting started is always the hardest thing. I await you next week with a newsletter that begins to take the road. Thanks for reading me.
